"Green" IT Solutions

Technology Deployment Solutions (TDS) offers comprehensive services encompassing strategic policy and procedural development to integrate with existing overalll Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This broad based program incorporates print (paper and ink), desktops including monitors, and data centers.
This program is for diverse, global entities who wish to develop strategies that can be adopted in all their various business units, measured and progressively improved.
Print, Paper & Toner
Printing costs for global entities can be gigantic not to mention the impact of felled trees. By example, a gallon of black ink costs nearly $2,000 and color ink nearly $8,000. Printing costs can be halved with proper planning and execution. TDS works with clients to identify technology that can enable these changes and quickly reduce costs and change behaviors.
Desktops & Monitors
According the Alliance to Save Energy enabling power controls on desktops and monitors can save $36 dollars a year per employee. This represents a huge opportunity for cost avoidance and reduction by simply enabling existing technology. TDS can assist with program creation, implementation and training to roll these programs out globally.
Data Center Leveling
Data centers represent a huge portion of energy spend and carbon output for large institutions. This particularily true if the entity has multiple sites with little strategic control of the assets. By leveraging DCEEF, TDS can quickly assess an entire data center portfolio, create standards & metrics and incrementally improve all facilities through simple adjustments and assisting with educating data center owners on implementing industry best practices.
